Blindwrite Introduction
Blindwrite Suite is a set of tools to reproduce or clone any CD even protected ones. Blindwrite Suite is the most powerfull tool to create a perfect copy from your original CD for personal backup use.
Blindwrite Suite can create CD audio from MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, WMA, monkey's audio and be use with an cd-rom emulator like Daemon Tools
BlindWrite is a essentially disc dublicator that is also able to handle most copy protected discs. It consists of two parts - BlindRead for dumbing CDs to image files and BlindWrite for burning the image files. This puts BlindWrite to the same category with CloneCD and actually this software is it's only real competitor.
One nice special feature of BlindWrite is it's ability to check image files for errors. I don't know how accurate this is, but might be very useful if you obtain images from the Internet
So BlindWrite is a package of two programs, which is one of it's downsides. The GUI / usability could be a lot better. Also, there has been some reports about compatibility issues with the latest revisions.
Blindwrite is the special tool for a special job. If you need an image file burner (ISO, CUE, BWT, WAV, MPG, MP2, MP3) or a disc dublicator, then this definitely is one software you must check out.
