DLL software module for GPS receivers

Fiko
Software has released its new GPS DLL WAYGPS32.DLL
for those whom would like to integrate GPS projects to
their software developments. This DLL does work under
Windows (VB, C++ etc.) and are using thread technologies
instead of having your software to connect to the COM-port
or USB directly. The DLL works with NMEA and has functions
to change baudrates in SiRF StarIII.

WAY D6x GekoTracker
is a sophisticated GPS receiver with integrated data logger
that can store a maximum of 345,000 GPS (NMEA) tracking records
in internal compact flash memory.

map software or Google Earth?

and tracker device that besides being used as a USB GPS receiver

FIKO is now offering its industrial low-cost WAY iD4xI and
iD4xII GPS receiver module that includes power supply for
3.3V and only 5V input is required for its TTL RS-232, standard
12V RS-232 or USB (option). The board comes with a 40-pin low-profile
board-to-board connector and FIKO have long-term guarantee on
its form factor and pin connections.
Order evaluation sample of iD4xI or iD4xII where iD4xII has
I-PEX antenna connector on PCB as standard. The antenna RF line
is available on connector.

top case (main unit) and fastening bracket. Once the WAY
D3x bracket is securely fastened, the top case can be

Geo-referencing
of raster maps
FIKO
has now geo-referenced most of Chiang Mai city
in Thailand provided as GPS raster maps. North Shore of
Auckland, New Zealand was ready in August'07 and a
completion of Down Town Business District of Auckland is expected
to be completed soon while the maps of South Auckland will
be ready soon after. Nancy in France was ready
in May'07. Abidjan in Ivory Coast (Africa) are under geo-referencing
at this moment, expected to be ready quite soon.
Such
maps are produced for GPS and AVL systems using DWPRaster
version 1.7.1 and has a scale of 1:1700 and 1:2500 available
in raster format with DPOI, POI, Street and partial company
databases.
